You can speed up your PC by with Flash Drives (USB Pen Drive or Flash memory card.) Just insert the Pen drive or Memory card first make sure the drive is empty or take a back up of contents.
Step 1 » Go to My Computer>> your pendrive>> Properties>> Go to ReadyBoost tab.
Step 2 » In Radio button, Select third option i.e. Use this Device.
Step 3 » Adjust the slider to select the memory to be used. (Simple thumb rule is Keep it maximum)
Step 4 » Click Apply >> OK.
Note:
You may not get the total volume of flash drive to be used, depending
upon the speed of Flash drive. For example, you inserted 8GB Pen drive
but Windows may provide the option of maximum 4 GB only. Secondly, when
the device is used in ReadyBoost mode, you cannot use the remaining
memory in that drive. If once taken out, put it back to same USB slot it
is reconfigured as ReadyBoost .Whenever you want to use the pen drive
for other purpose, you can simply format it and use again.
