Shutdown Timer trick in Windows 7

        Step 1 » Click Start type CMD in the search box. Right click and click open to run Command line.

        Step 2 » Then type "shutdown /s /t 3600" and press Enter. Note: 3600 are the amount of seconds before your computer shuts down i.e., 60secs*60mins=3600secs Means 1 Hour.

        Step 3 » Windows will display message about shutting down in 60 minutes.
      Step 4 » TO ABORT: type “shutdown /a” to make an abort and stop the shutdown timer.

       Step 5 » A message will be prompted to you that the scheduled shutdown has been cancelled.
