The pen drive is the most uses removable disk. Sometimes we face some problem about pen drive one of them is write protect problem.
What is write protection?
It is a protection for device
for avoiding coping file. If you have this problem then you can‟t
transfer any kinds of data. It is quite good for saving from virus. But
sometimes it creates more problems for us when we unable to disable
write protect. Most often we solve our regular problem by formatting.
But what happen when pen drive contains important files and you have to
save the data. It is a great problem for new people.

Step 1 » At first go to start button and click on it.
Step 2 » Select Run option
Step 3 » Write „Regedit‟
Step 4 » Hit Enter button
Step 5 » Open- “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control” from Registry Editor.
Step 6 » Right click on Control
Step 7 » Select New
Step 8 » Create a new key name as “StorageDevicePolicies”
Step 9 » Right click on “StorageDevicePolicies”
Step 10 » Select “DWORD Value”
Step 11 » Write down “WriteProtect” as name
Step 12 » Double click on “WriteProtect”
Step 13 » Type 0 as Value Data
Step 14 » Now write protect is off on your computer.
