How to make Bootable pen drive with PowerISO
It’s not very handy to carry all the bootable CD’s & DVD’s where ever you go. However an external disk may contain number of such bootable images, and you can make bootable pen drive with this image whenever you need. This tutorial will tell you how to make bootable pen drive using Power ISO. It can be done with any burning software which provides this feature. Firstly you have to download a small utility program “Power ISO”.

Step 1 » Run the application in your computer, it’s a simple interface, just follow the instructions.
Step 2 » Now find the shortcut
icon in Desktop, OR go to Start button>>Programs>>All
Programs, OR in search bar type PowerISO.
Step 3 » Right click on the
shortcut icon (PowerISO.exe) and click Run as administrator. Windows
will ask for your permission to run this program. Click Yes.
Step 4 » Now PowerISO will
prompt for registration or continue with unregistered copy. The
unregistered version works well.
Step 5 » You may think later for
registration if you need other advanced features. So for time being,
clicks continue unregistered.
Step 6 » Now go to TOOLS >> Create Bootable USB drive.
Step 7 » Select the path of ISO image, or any other image format. It supports almost all image formats.
Step 8 » Select destination USB Drive. (Make sure the contents of pen drive are backed up or it’s empty).
Step 9 » Click Start Button at bottom left.
Step 10 » You will be warned that the drive will be formatted or something like that. Click ok and proceed.

How to remove a write protection from your USB memory Stick if there is no Write protection ON or OFF button or tab:
Step 1 » Shutdown your computer or laptop
Step 2 » Insert USB Memory Stick into your laptop or Computer
Step 3 » Turn on computer and then immediately start pressing (F8) key then Advanced Boot Options screen will come up
Step 4 » Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Step 5 » After loading files if
your USB Memory Stick drive letter is (G) for example then write as:
C:\windows\system32>G: and press enter
Step 6 » G:\>format G: and press enter
Step 7 » If ask you (Y/N) then press (Y) and press enter
Step 8 » Now a full format will start which remove write protection from USB Memory Stick.
